लखनऊ :  नेशनल इन्फॉर्मेटिक सेंटर (एनआईसी) ने सूबे में 72,825 शिक्षकों की भर्ती के लिए सॉफ्टवेयर तैयार कर लिया है। राज्य शैक्षिक अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद (एससीईआरटी) शीघ्र ही एनआईसी से यह सॉफ्टवेयर लेकर जिलों को भेज देगा। सचिव बेसिक शिक्षा नीतीश्वर कुमार ने बताया कि इस सॉफ्टवेयर की सहायता से शिक्षक भर्ती के लिए आए हुए आवेदनों का विवरण सूचीबद्ध करते हुए कन्वर्ट किया जाएगा जिससे मेरिट बनाने में आसानी होगी। हालांकि, राज्य सरकार ने शिक्षकों की भर्ती के लिए सुप्रीम कोर्ट से तीन माह की मोहलत मांगी है। सरकार का कहना है कि भर्ती प्रक्रिया पूरी करने में समय लग जाएगा, इसलिए उसे मोहलत दी जाए।

उत्तर प्रदेश में शिक्षा विभाग का दायरा काफी बड़ा है। बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग के अधीन जूनियर हाईस्कूल और माध्यमिक शिक्षा विभाग के पास इंटरमीडिएट तक की शिक्षा व्यवस्था है। ये दोनों विभाग अपने-अपने स्तर पर शिक्षकों की भर्तियां करते हैं। प्रदेश में देखा जाए तो पिछले दो सालों से शिक्षकों की भर्तियों के लिए विज्ञापन कई बार निकाले गए, लेकिन प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं हो पाई। प्रदेश में प्राइमरी से लेकर इंटर कॉलेजों में मौजूदा समय 3,09,625 शिक्षकों के पद रिक्त हैं। इन रिक्तियों को भरने के लिए पिछले दो सालों में विज्ञापन तो निकाले गए, लेकिन भर्ती प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं हो पाई है। सबसे खराब स्थिति तो बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग की है। बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग में पिछले तीन सालों से टीईटी पास बीएड वालों को शिक्षक बनाने की प्रक्रिया चल रही है, लेकिन यह प्रक्रिया अभी तक पूरी नहीं हो पाई है।
